8D South of New Zealand (NCHC8)

Upon arrive in Christchurch, we board our ASA Holidays’s coach and make our way to Morelea Farm. The friendly farm owners introduce their farm and we also get to experience their daily lifestyle such as sheep shearing and sheep dog demonstrations.

Next we proceed to admire the spectacular view of New Zealand’s highest mountain at Mount Cook Lookout Point, before heading to Lake Pukaki. Thereafter, we make a short stop at Lake Tekapo to see the Church of the Good Shepherd and the Mackenzie Sheep Dog Statue.

Today is an exciting day some of the bolder hearts as they get to enjoy Bungy Jumping at the Kawarau Bridge before heading to Queenstown.

Here are some of the spectacular views along the way to Milford Sound which is an UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After breakfast, en-route drive through West Coast’s scenic route which cover Lake Wanaka and Lake Hawea laying side by side each other. We continue this scenic drive through Westland National Park towards Franz Josef Glacier lookout point.

Early morning we head over to the magnificent marine reserve at Punakaiki where we loop walk about 20 min to the famous Pancake Rocks & Blowholes.

We make a photo stop at Arthur’s Pass and drive pass Canterbury Plains to Christchurch where the blue sky and the snow white mountains make us feel like staying here forever!
